It’s Spring in the Ukiah area, and it is a beautiful time of year. Our trees have leafed out, the hills are green, and after a winter of normal rainfall, things are lush and green everywhere. We’ve had some unseasonably warm days, in the mid to high 80’s. Soon we will be beyond frost season, and folks will be planting their summer vegetable gardens. It’s also a time of year when many new homes come on the market. Our residential inventory was low over the last few months, but the number of new listings coming on the market has increased. The sales volume of residential sales has continued to rise, right along with the number of new listings. We are experiencing what I would call a good stable real estate market. The area where demand seems highest is on the west side of Ukiah. This is especially true if a home is valued under $400,000. I listed a home on Mill Court last week, and we have already had two offers, with the second offer currently under negotiation. If you have a home on the west side of Ukiah that you are considering selling, this is an excellent time to do so. If there is anything that I can do to help with your real estate needs, please give me a call.
